Chairman of the Board
Kjell has broad business experience, including as CEO of Stokke AS. Currently he is engaged full-time in directorships. In addition to being board chairman of Rem Offshore ASA, Mr Storeide is board member of the stock exchange listed company Salmar ASA, as well as a number of unlisted companies.
He is a former member of the boards of Aker ASA, Innovation Norway, Investinor, SND and SND Invest, and the executive boards of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) and Confederation of Technology Companies (TBL). He holds a Master degree in Business and Economics from NHH
Mr. Fossgård is a portfolio director with BW Ventures; an industry-funded investment partnership investing in growth stage companies that provide technology-based products and services to the maritime industry. Mr. Fossgård has extensive experience with portfolios in green innovation and solutions for the maritime industry and currently holds additional director positions with such companies.
Mr. Fossgård holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University with a concentration in risk management and finance. His career started with Dyno Nobel, a world leading supplier of industrial explosives, working in the field of finance. Formerly with BW Gas, Mr. Fossgård was a treasurer facilitating corporate and project financing, as well as controlling currency and interest rate risk.
Frands Preben Frandsen
Frands P Frandsen holds several board positions as well as being Operating Principal at BW Ventures Ltd. Being a serial entrepreneur, he has built several companies from scratch, among others a facility service company that was sold to NEAS ASA in 2006. Since 2008 Frands Preben Frandsen has been involved in clean technology sector investments and is operational in start-ups. His operational experience and focus led him to join BW Ventures’ Green Marine Capital from its very beginning.
Stig Andersen previously worked as Nordic Head of Corporate Research at Nordea and held various positions in this bank for more than 19 years, e.g. Director Corporate Finance, Senior Analyst and Equity Analyst. He has also played a key role in Nordea’s coverage of the global forest industry. Stig Andersen holds a Ph.D in Forestry Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and MBA studies at University of Colorado.
